Supplier Spotlight: Minted

I love sourcing artwork for clients – it can be the perfect starting point to build a scheme around, and browsing artwork is a great way to get inspired. I recently posted this print from Minted on my Instagram account as it really caught my eye.

You all obviously loved it too as I had so many likes and comments about it – a client even emailed me to say she’d seen it and thought it would be perfect for her living room.

I’ve since found Minted to be my new obsession. I’ve spent hours browsing the artwork, and finding inspiration for new schemes. For those of you that haven’t come across it before, Minted is an online marketplace of independent artists and designers. The company crowdsources art and graphic design through monthly challenges and the result is an amazing collection of unique products.

I was thrilled to discover their range has recently expanded from their original offering of artwork and stationery, and now have their very own home range. The range currently includes fabriccushions and curtains, and later in the Autumn they will be launching their lampshades and table linen too – can’t wait!

The cushions come in different sizes, and each design has lots of clear images showing the options in their different scales so you can get a really good idea of what you are actually ordering – always a plus when shopping online.

These giant 40″ x 40″ cushions would be great to scatter on the floor of a kids space don’t you think?

These are my current favourites (though it was hard to choose, so forgive me if I change my mind!)

The curtains are available in all the same designs as the cushions, although I wouldn’t encourage matching sets! I just love geometric and painterly prints, particularly on this scale. Here are a few more of my favourite shown made up as curtains.

For now, Minted’s curtains and pillows are made-to-order and require a 4 week processing time.

Happy browsing! 🙂
