We designed this contemporary open plan living and kitchen space for our clients who wanted it to be suitable for family life, but with an adult feel where they could also relax and entertain. To define the living area, we used a large silk rug to sit beneath the seating and coffee table, which also helped to soften the space and create contrast against the tiled floor. We installed bespoke shelving and bar unit with in built lighting, large commissioned paintings and floor to ceiling curtains, and used a vibrant palette of lime green and deep plums to create this inviting living space.
