Easter Treats, New Designers Guild Pattern Books & A Weekend Away

This week has been a busy one, partly because it was made shorter by the long Easter weekend, and also because today we’ve headed early to start a weekend away. More on that later.

The Easter weekend was lovely, spent with family and friends, enjoying roast dinners, long walks in the warm weather, with a few pit stops at pubs along the way. I was even treated to the Lindtt Heavenly Hazelnut egg I’d been hinting at for the last few weeks… 🙂

After all the fun and over indulgence that Easter brought, I managed to squeeze in 3 new client meetings to view prospective projects, a visit from my Osborne & Little rep, who was showing me their latest collections, and another trip up to Chelsea Harbour Design Centre. I also received an exciting delivery of some new Designers Guild pattern books I ordered recently, which include a great range of upholstery fabrics in Designers Guild’s trademark bright colours.

So now we’ve arrived at our first stop for the our weekend away. We’ve come to the White Horse, just outside Chichester. It is a boutique hotel and country pub, with a fantastic restaurant and a fantastic interiors. Just up my street!
